Former Boyfriend (1969 to 1976): Jeremy had first noticed Gary Bond when he appeared in the musical 'On The Level' in 1966, saying to a friend that he found him beautiful. But Jeremy didn't get the chance to meet the handsome actor until December 1969, when both men appeared in the show 'A Talent to Amuse', celebrating Noel Coward's 70th birthday. The attraction they felt for each other quickly grew into something deep and meaningful - they were very similar, sharing a love of life and laughter. Once Gary returned from filming 'Wake in Fright' in Australia, where Jeremy visited him, they looked for a house together in Notting Hill, where they lived together as a couple from 1971. Even after their romantic relationship came to an end in 1976 (due to complicated circumstances), they were to remain friends for life. Gary was very much a part of JB's extended family.
