I love Joan Crawford very much. Can people talk more about her

是有点感觉她说台词像背书似的,不过看她的影片不多,但<大饭店>的表演就挺好的,表情动作很细腻,还带些少许神秘的感觉,她早期的作品要好很多,相反让她获奖的<欲海情魔>就觉得一般般.我还没做她的专题.....

个人感觉她不是一位女演员，而是一位电影明星...no, I really
cannot agree with you, rebeccaclassic. You really have
to see her Movie "Sudden Fear" ,"Mildred Pierce","Above 
suspicion", etc. You really don't have to too many of her
films. Her acting is very very delicate and when she talks,
she has her own charisma to attract people. This is her style
and she is not reciting all her lines. If you are really a
movie lover and if you would find her acting skills very very
understanding. How outstanding? It is totally unlike the same
acting format that other acting performers present in Hollywood. 

However, it doesn't matter because different people have 
different perceptions and so while holding my own view about
Joan Crawford, I still respect you view too.

For Joan Crawford, I didn't notice there is actually a 
page set up for her ( thanks rebeccaclassic for informing
me). Silverscreen if you haven't seen "sudden fear" and
"above suspicion", these are the two films that you must 
see. Others you can ignore them. Once you see those films,
you would agree with what I am saying. Is there any way you
can get these movie DVDs?

By the way, rebeccaclassic, there are lots of typing errors in
my prior posting to you. Sorry about that for I was typing too

yea, she is really a charming movie star, she shows totally different style in movie history, which is natrual,sensitive and cool.yea, i almost forgot, i love her acting in the movie"the women",she shone from the star to the end,and shows her real acting ability.as i said, i like her acting in the movie"grand hotel", i just love the moment when she flirts with john barrymore, she looks so gorgeous. compares to her other films i saw, "Mildred Pierce" is not really my favorite, she talks too fast in that film,maybe cuz there are too many lines in that film, it made me feel every actor in that film is like reciting lines, not only joan, but i can not deny her delicate and sensitive acting and charm attracted me as well. i have also seen the "humoresque",her eyes tells you everything she thinks,feels and needs.
 the only question is i have to watch her film more, i'm really looking forward to see her early films which she stars with clark gable, she looks so young and beautiful at that time, the other reason is because i love movie in the 30's.i know joan showed her great ability in a film which she stars with betty davis, i saw a small part of it when a joan crawford introduction came to me, her move and emotion actually kinda shocked me in that part. 
 anyway, she is not a normal actress, she is deep, a actress with great depth.she lets me feel she is a godness next too door, yea, a movie godness next to door.....

haha yes,everybody has his own view on a super star.Believe I have special respect to all the super stars of the golden years.
I have seen Mildred Pierce and her acting in grand hotel,and I found her acting is different from most actress."The women"which directed by George Cukor is also one of my favourite movies of the "golden years".I thought in this movie Joan Crawford's acting is better than in movies of 50s.This movie has most characters of golden years,mostly "comfortable"to watch.I dare say it's a romantic and homourous comedy.In all her movies , she paid much effort to acting,no matter what kind of script it is.This is why I respect her.She also has a special temptation and charm to people nowadays.
I agree with silverscreen,that she talks too fast in Mildred Pierce It's very hard for me ,who has just graduated from high school ,to understand. 
I have read mant comments about her and I know her childhood is very miserable.I think this kind of life gave her strength and determination which differs from other people.In Mildred Pierce,she fought against life,and finally I was shocked by her acting when she shot that man.
