光明在小说“达文西密码”中亦有出现过的一个秘密组织，目标是控制世界。这游戏中各玩者是这类秘密组织的其中一个支派，目标是支配世界。SteveJackson设计的光照游戏有好几个版本，第一个版本是在1983年出版的光明。它和再版的光照：豪华版（1987年）都是一个完整的游戏。但光照：新WorldOrder（INWO）却是一个集换式纸牌游戏（化学计算）。但史蒂夫杰克逊亦出版了一个INWO FactorySet，包括了整个INWO的每一张牌。 无论那一个版本，基本概念是一样。玩者先选择做一个光明会的支派。各人以这个支派为中心建立一个由不同组织，地区或人物互相控制的权力中心。之后利用自己控制的单位，去控制或消灭其他光明会支派权力中心所控制的单位。令自己的权力中心成为唯一的权力中心（消灭其它权力中心所控制的所有单位），或成长到足以控制世界（控制到十二个单位）。
《Illuminati: New World Order（光明会：世界新秩序）》是Steve Jackson Games游戏公司在1994年发行的一套交换卡片游戏。它的前身是该公司1982年发行的卡片游戏《Illuminati（光 明会）》，其灵感来自于Robert Anton Wilson于1975出版的着名阴谋论小说《The Illuminatus!
