    Back in the 5th century, Yuantouzhu was already famed for its beautiful scenery, verdant hills and clear water. From the 1920s to the1940s, cherry blossom trees were planted on both sides of the Changchun Bridgeand some other bridges in Yuantouzhu, by a few wealthy citizens and intellectuals.
