EXCLUSIVE 'Empire' First Listen: Mary J. Blige Sounds Flawless in 'Shake Down'

In Wednesday's all-new chapter, Blige plays Angie, a woman from Lucious' (Howard) past who makes her way back into his present.

"Shake Down," which will be featured in a very important flashback scene, is a piano-heavy duet that -- in trueEmpirefashion -- will be stuck in your head all day long.

Blige will join a roster of hit singers -- Courtney Love, Estelle, Jennifer Hudson, Juicy J, and Rita Ora -- as well as the show's dynamite cast that performs each week's addictive new songs.
Two versions of the soundtrack will be released through Columbia Records on Tuesday, Mar. 10: A standard edition and a digital deluxe version, which includes the fan favorite track, "Drip Drop."
