The Rat Bastard is an ornery little cuss. Maybe it’s his trouble with the missus. Or maybe it’s a shortman’s complex. But whatever’s crawled up his ass, the Rat Bastard is a war cleaver that pisses turpentine and takes umbrage at the smallest slight.
Like its big brothers the Mack Daddy-O and Reaver Cleaver, the Rat Bastard is styled after the Chinese warsword, with a blade a quarter-inch thick and almost 3 inches wide at the tip. The butt end has the traditional ring of the Chinese dadao, suitable for hanging the piece from a hook on the abattoir wall, or for tying a lanyard. And at over 2 pounds of 5160 steel, it’s burly as all get out and capable of as much butchery as you’ve got the gumption.
The Rat Bastard is full tang, heat-treated for all manner of mischief, and comes with a top-release sheath with leather securing strap.
