Hey there!
The difference between wet cell and dry cell batteries is the makeup of the electrolyte. The electrolyte is the material that conducts electricity in the battery. Wet cells have liquid electrolytes, while dry cells have solid electrolytes, usually in the form of a paste or powder. Wet cells were invented before dry cells, and they’re still used in some applications today. Car batteries are a type of wet cell battery. Dry cell batteries are more common. The batteries that run your TV remote control, for example, are dry cell batteries.

Hey there!Alkaline batteries create electricity from the chemical reaction of zinc and manganese oxide. Alkaline batteries are the batteries you normally buy in a store to put in electronic devices such as a television remote. Lithium batteries get their electricity from the element lithium and they generate twice as much electricity as regular batteries. Lithium batteries are rechargeable and are what you usually find inside of things like cell phones and other portable electronics.

      Hey there!
H2SO4, also known as sulfuric acid, is a chemical commonly used in storage batteries. Different concentrations of the acid are used for different purposes. Batteries generally have around 33.5 percent concentration of sulfuric acid. In the powder form, generally found in fertilizers, H2SO4 is harmful if it's inhaled or if it comes in contact with mucous membranes in the body. It can cause chemical burns and may damage living tissues. You should avoid handling it, and it can burn you, but it probably won’t cause serious damage unless a large amount of it contacts your skin for an extended period of time.
