Blog title: Happiness or Health?
Hi, my blog readers! Recently, I have watched a presentation on the topic “FOOD PROBLEM”. It is a popular topic these days, as people nowadays are more and more care about their own health.
In the presentation, the lecturer told us the food that would cause obese. Before listening to this speech, I thought if we ate some junk food, we could just do some exercise to expend the calorie. But in the speech, the lecturer told us that the calorie in a bottle of bubble tea equaled to the heat we consumed during one hour of jogging. And after more and more evidences and data were provided by the lecturer, I realized the dangerous of eating too much high calorie food. And after this presentation, I began to wonder, between happiness and health, which side most people will choose. What will you choose?
Despite of the high risks of eating junk food, many people still love, even addict to these food. People feel happiness while eating sweet food. This is true. But after the short-term pleasure, obesity, cancer, and other diseases are coming after. Eating high calorie food will cause obesity, heart diseases, or even cancer. My suggestion is not totally resist high energy food, but to eat less junk food. If people can control the amount of junk food they eat, they can not only experience the short-term pleasant, but also keep healthy.
Just like one of my friends Tony. He was around 68kg before, but after eating instant noodles and bubble tea everyday for half a year, his weight rose to 100kg. And many health problems also occurred, such as hypoimmunity and obesity. Nowadays he is doing exercise, but he told me that losing weight is much more hard than gaining it. So after listening to the presentation and my friend’s experience, I want to suggest everyone that eat less junk food and keep healthy!
