豪斯曼《别窥探我的双眼》
Look not in my Eyes (A Shropshire Lad)Simon Keenlyside - Songs of War
Look not in my eyes
Look not in my eyes,for fear
They mirror true the sight I see,
And there you find your face too clear
And love it and be lost like me.
One the long nights through must lie
Spent in star-defeated sighs,
But why should you as well as I
Perish? Gaze not in my eyes.
A Grecian lad,as I hear tell,
One that many loved in vain,
Looked into a forest well
And never looked away again.
There,when the turf in springtime flowers,
With downward eye and gazes sad,
Stands amid the glancing showers
A jonquil,not a Grecian lad.

    【光也自译】威廉布莱克《爱的秘密》
    Luening Selected Songs To Poems Of William Blake - Love's SecretDanielle Woerner - She Walks In Beauty
    译文
    爱的秘密
    莫要把爱以言相诉,
    爱从来不能被说出;
    如是温和的风轻拂
    无声,无形。
    我已说出,我已说出,
    我已向她倾尽我爱;
    颤抖,冰冷,夹杂惊恐,
    唉!她果真分开。
    方才她抛下我离去
    一个旅人过往
    无声,无形——
    俘获她凭一声叹息。
    原文
    Love's secret
    Never seek to tell thy love
    Love that never told can be;
    For the gentle wind does move
    Silently,invisibly.
    I told my love,I told my love,
    I told her all my heart,
    Trembling,cold,in ghastly fears --
    Ah,she doth depart.
    Soon as she was gone from me
    A traveller came by
    Silently,invisibly --
    He took her with a sigh.

      【光也自译】威廉布莱克《破晓》

      译文
      破晓
      为找到西去的路线,
      径直穿过愤怒的门扇
      我奋力前行;
      仁爱的慈悲引导我
      带柔软的悔改抽啜:
      我看到天色黎明。
      利剑和长矛的战争,
      被似露的泪消融,
      在高处发散;
      太阳摆脱掉了恐惧,
      带柔软的感激泪滴
      上升到云天。
      原文
      Daybreak
      To find the Western path,
      Right thro' the Gates of Wrath
      I urge my way;
      Sweet Mercy leads me on
      With soft repentant moan:
      I see the break of day.
      The war of swords and spears,
      Melted by dewy tears,
      Exhales on high;
      The Sun is freed from fears,
      And with soft grateful tears
      Ascends the sky.

        Ten Blake Songs: 8.Cruelty has a human heartIan Partridge - Vaughan Williams: On Wenlock Edge . Warlock: The Curlew
        译文
        残酷有一颗人的心
        残酷有一颗人的心,
        嫉妒有一张人的脸;
        恐怖塑造人的神形,
        秘密成为人的衣衫。
        人的衣衫是锻炼的铁,
        人的形象是炽热的炉,
        人的脸是座密封的熔炉,
        人的心是它难填的欲壑。
        原文
        Cruelty has a human heart
        Cruelty has a human heart,
        And Jealousy a human face;
        Terror the human form divine,
        And secrecy the human dress.
        The human dress is forged iron,
        The human form a fiery forge,
        The human face a furnace seal'd,
        The human heart its hungry gorge.

          Part 2: The FlyChristine Brewer;Measha Brueggergosman;Ilana Davidson;Linda Hohenfeld - BOLCOM: Songs of Innocence and of Experience
          译文
          苍蝇
          小苍蝇,
          你夏天的嬉戏
          给我粗心的手
          抹消除去。
          我不像你
          是一只苍蝇?
          你不像我
          是一个人?
          因我跳舞
          且饮酒又歌唱:
          直到盲目的手
          抹消我的翅膀。
          若思想是生命
          和呼吸及力量
          思想的缺乏
          就等同于死亡;
          那我就是
          快活的苍蝇,
          即便我死,
          抑或我生。

          原文
          The fly
          Little Fly,
          Thy summer's play
          My thoughtless hand
          Has brush'd away.
          Am not I
          A fly like thee?
          Or art not thou
          A man like me?
          For I dance
          And drink & sing:
          Till some blind hand
          Shall brush my wing.
          If thought is life
          And strength & breath
          And the want
          Of thought is death;
          Then am I
          A happy fly,
          If I live,
          Or if I die.

            译文
            啊,向日葵
            啊,向日葵!厌倦了时光,
            你计数太阳的脚步;
            寻找着那美丽富饶的地方,

            那里少年憔悴殒逝于欲望,
            苍白的处子裹如雪的尸衣,
            爬出他们的坟墓,向往
            我的向日葵愿去的那里。

            原文
            Ah,Sun-flower
            Ah,Sun-flower! weary of time,
            Who countest the steps of the Sun;
            Seeking after that sweet golden clime,
            Where the traveller's journey is done:

                        And that I was a maiden Queen:

                        And I wept both night and day
                        And he wip'd my tears away

                        And hid from him my hearts delight
                        So he took his wings and fled;

                        I dried my tears & armed my fears,
                        With ten thousand shields and spears.
                        Soon my Angel came again;
                        I was arm'd, he came in vain:

                          我听到束缚心灵的镣铐
                          扫烟囱的孩子怎样哭泣
                          惊骇每一座染黑的教堂,
                          不幸的士兵又怎样叹息
                          化成血流下宫殿的围墙
                          但午夜的街道我多听到
                          年轻的妓女还怎样诅咒
                          把新生幼儿的泪水赶跑
                          用瘟疫破坏婚姻的灵柩

                          London
                          I wander thro’ each charter’d street,
                          Near where the charter’d Thames does flow.
                          And mark in every face I meet
                          Marks of weakness, marks of woe.
                          In every cry of every Man,
                          In every Infants cry of fear,
                          In every voice: in every ban,
                          The mind-forg’d manacles I hear
                          How the Chimney-sweepers cry
                          Every blackning Church appalls,
                          And the hapless Soldiers sigh
                          Runs in blood down Palace walls
                          But most thro’ midnight streets I hear
                          How the youthful Harlots curse
                          Blasts the new-born Infants tear
                          And blights with plagues the Marriage hearse

                            天国的华袍
                            若我有上天的锦绣华袍,
                            织入金色和银色的日光,
                            湛蓝浅灰和深黑的华袍
                            映衬夜光昼光和霞光,
                            我将铺展华袍在你脚下:
                            可我,贫穷,仅有我的梦;
                            我铺展我的梦在你脚下,
                            轻些踩,因你踩在我的梦。

                            The cloths of Heaven
                            Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
                            Enwrought with golden and silver light,
                            The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
                            of night and light and the half-light,
                            I would spread the cloths under your feet:
                            But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
                            I have spread my dreams under your feet,
                            Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

                              一条瞬息幻灭的路线
                              飞掠一只正旋转的车轮——
                              一阵祖母绿的共鸣——
                              一股胭脂红的奔涌——
                              灌木上的每一朵花
                              都摆正被碰歪的头——
