Potala Palace, also known as the Potala Palace, is located in Lhasa City of Tibet Autonomous Region. It is a world-famous palace and was once the political and religious center of ancient Tibet. It has a history of more than 1,300 years and is one of the most important cultural relics in China. The Potala Palace is composed of the White Palace and Red Palace, both magnificent and majestic. The White Palace consists mainly of administrative buildings such as offices for government officials while the Red Palace serves as a residence for Buddhist monks. In 1994, it was listed as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
